Lose a hundred twenty-five tons, and what do you get?

Daniel 9:7
Justice, O Lord, is on your side; we are shamefaced even to this day.

Jesus called on us not to stop sinning but to start living righteous lives. "Forgive and you'll be forgiven. Give and good gifts will be given to you, a good measure: pressed down, shaken together and running over, poured into your lap!"

This all takes energy, more than most of us have, because we have lousy diets and terrible sleep habits. And we don't drink nearly enough water. Maybe you've heard that Rich Warren's Saddleback congregation shed 250,000 lbs in a year following Daniel's diet. (Those in small groups lost twice as much as those doing it on their own ... spurring one another on ...)

I know that besides losing weight they also gained energy. Lots of it. What does 250,000 pounds of energy look like? Pressed down, shaken together, running over, pouring into your lap is what it looks like!

Biological reform goes hand in hand with spiritual transformation and sociological reform. There is nothing separated about my body and my mind. Or yours. We are each one person and we are all one people.

So here's a link to check out the Daniel plan: http://www.doctoroz.com/slideshow/daniel-plan-diet-mind-body-and-spirit

Hide the sugar. Find the fruits and vegetables. Make the protein grass fed, wild-caught, organic, and make it the "side dish." Don't try to do it alone.

When I live this way I'll have so much more energy to "act justly, love mercy and walk humbly with my God."

You have freed us, Lord, from the second death; now teach us to stop sighing with self-pity and breathe in your spirit, drink up your water, and eat what you have provided for us in the life we're living. Eat Real Food. Drink Living Water. We, your people, the sheep of your pasture, give thanks to you forever and declare your praise.
